Youth Leaders Retreat

6:00 p.m. Wednesday -  7:00 p.m. Thursday

“Youth Ministry: IS God in the Mix?"

 

 

Ted Martin, Pastor of Hampton Presbyterian Church will be leading this retreat. He brings to this retreat 25 years of youth ministry experience.

 

How do we develop a dynamic relationship with the Pastor; how do we incorporate theology into our youth ministry; and what is our theology of youth ministry?  Come join us for this mid-week retreat to find out the answers. 

 

We will be using (in addition to the Bible) Practicing Passion: Youth and the Quest for a Passionate Church by Kenda Creasy Dean (Eerdmans 2004).

 

Please bring 2 (two) joys and 2 (concerns) from your youth ministry experiences this year to share with the group. 

 

Daily Activities

  • Wednesday, May 14 - 6 PM Dinner, Worship and Koinonia

  • Thursday - May 15 - 9:45 AM to 7 PM - Learning, fun and Worship

The fees are as follows:

  • Wednesday Only: Dinner at 6 PM and activities - $20.00

  • Thursday Only: Programs, activities and three meals - $40.00

  • For Wednesday and Thursday: $60.00 -- lodging is free
