Senior Adult Retreat
A Pilgrimage in Celtic Christian
Spirituality
May 6 to 7, 2008

Your are invited to
Crestfield for a journey of the heart . . . a pilgrimage along the
Celtic Christian Spiritual way. We will explore the roots of
this tradition and trace both the past and present expressions of
this vibrant spirituality. This retreat will include
inspirational discussion, worship and hymn singing, a hayride,
s'mores, crafts, and more.
Retreat Leader:
Rebecca Cole-Turner, Ph.D., is
a spiritual director and retreat leader as director of Heart Space
Ministries. She was awarded the Certificate in Spiritual Formation from
Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and the Diploma in the Art of Spiritual
Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Rebecca has written
church curriculum resources and has published poetry through the PCUSA
Office of Spirituality. Rebecca is married to Ron, an author,
theologian and ethicist who teaches at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
She has traveled extensively to Celtic Christian sites in the British
Isles and continues to explore Christian spirituality around the world,
most recently in Romania.
When:
Registration will begin at 10:30 AM on Tuesday Morning of the retreat, and
last until 2:00 PM on Wednesday.
Transportation - will
be provided from central locations. You will be contacted by May 2
of these locations.
Cost: The cost is
$65.00 per person for double room in Scott Lodge.. This fee covers all meals, lodging and programming. There is a $20.00
non-refundable deposit per person.
