Camp 2008
Crestfield
in partnership with Pittsburgh Presbytery's Administrative Commission
for Transformation is excited to announce that applications are now
being accepted for the 2008 Daycamp Experience. Crestfield will come to
your site for this Vacation Bible School like experience for children
kindergarten through grade 5 completed.
A variety of opportunities exist:
1. Regular daycamp which is a Monday
through Thursday experience either in the morning or the evening. Each
experience is 1 week long. Three of the weeks will be given the
opportunity to sign up for a whole day trip to Crestfield. Both the
morning and evening sites will attend, sending chaperones from the site
with the campers. Transportation is provided to Crestfield.
2. A Music, Art and Drama Camp that
will be 1 week from 9AM-4PM with a production on the closing Friday.
3. A Sports camp that will be for 1
week from 9AM-2PM
4. A two week reading camp. This camp
is for 12 students maximum and will be from 9-1230, Monday through
Friday for the first week and Monday through Thursday the second week.
Please see the attached Application and Covenant of Agreement for more
details.
The program is sponsored between Crestfield and the Transformation
Commission and is essentially free of charge. Please check the Covenant
of Agreement for what the church site needs to provide as far as housing
and food for the Crestfield staff.
Crestfield provides the program so that the church can provide
relationships with those who attend.
There will be a mandatory In Service meeting for Daycamp on Saturday,
May 3, 2008 from 9AM-1PM at the Presbytery office.
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 29, 2008.
Please call Crestfield at 724-794-4022 with any questions.
