Senior High Programs

For campers in grades 9-12

Senior High Resident

Get ready, because Crestfield is changing up ol' summer camp for the Senior High campers. Sure you'll enjoy high ropes, climbing, canoeing, Big Friz and the other classics. You will also still enjoy the afternoon trip to Moraine State Park, but you will also dig deeper in your role as a disciple of Christ and a role model to younger campers. This camp is a ton of fun, no doubt about it, but it's also an opportunity to challenge yourself as you enjoy the privileges and responsibilities of being an older camper.

Dates:

  • June 24-29, 2012
  • July 15-20, 2012

Ages: Grades 9-11 (completed)

Cost:  $335

Senior High Pioneer

Participants experience the beauty of God’s creation as they camp in the outdoors for the week. Enjoy a rustic camp experience, Pioneer campers will live in teepees, learn to cook over a campfire, and explore the beauty of living in the outdoors. This is an excellent choice for anyone who is looking for a great outdoor experience! Pioneer camp includes the high ropes challenge course and zip line and an afternoon off-site trip to Moraine State Park!

Dates:

Ages: Grades 9-11 (Completed)

Cost:  $355

Senior High Adventure

Feeling a bit adventurous? Want to experience Crestfield in new ways? This camp has a particular focus on enjoying God’s Creation as we hike, explore and get a little dirty. Much like the Pioneer experience, campers will sleep under the stars and cook meals around a fire, but this camp takes it a step further with off-site day trips. Get ready to explore your faith as you explore the beauties of Western Pennsylvania.

Dates:

  • July 22-27

Ages: Grades 9-11

Cost: $375

Counselors in Training (CIT)

Are you ready for a challenge in servant leadership? Don’t worry, it will be fun too! CIT is taking a new shape as campers will arrive on Thursday, go camping off-site over the weekend and explore from a Biblical standpoint what it means to be a leader. After the weekend away, CITs will transition into a cabin where they will work with a Crestfield counselor to minister to young campers. After completing the CIT session, participants may be invited back for remaining weeks of the summer.

Dates:

  • June 21-29, 2012

Ages: Grades 11-12 (completed)

Cost:  $495
