:: How are Cabin Assignments made?
:: When does the week begin and end?Registration for all campers is held in the Dining Hall from 3:00-4:00 pm on the first day. Early registration will not be permitted, as our staff will be busy preparing for an energized week of camp – We will begin promptly at 3:00pm. To close most weeks parents are invited to join us for a concluding worship service that will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday in celebration of our week at camp. During Special Needs, Genesis, Little Ones and Loved Ones and Last Blast Camp, however, we will close with a picnic and worship service which parents are invited to join us for at 5:30pm on the last day of the session.
:: Can you accommodate special dietary needs?Yes. Every week we have campers who are vegetarian, lactose intolerant, and have other dietary restrictions. Our menu provides plenty of choices at each meal. Please contact our Food Service Director to discuss your camper’s dietary restrictions. :: How do I contact my child?Campers are encouraged to receive mail and/or e-mail. :: Email your Camper -- (black text only with no pictures) Please include camper name, gender, and camp name to ensure delivery. :: Postal Mail -- Please send to:
Campers do not have access to a phone. We will make sure they receive your emergency phone messages. :: Is your camp accredited by the American Camp Association?Yes. Crestfield was visited by the ACA in 2011 and received an exemplary score.
:: Is there financial assistance available?Yes! It is the expressed intention of Crestfield that no one be denied Crestfield’s Christian camping experience due to lack of funds. Camperships are available through many churches and we also have scholarship money available. Scholarships from Crestfield are available by filling out a scholarship application. |
