Off-Site Day Camp 2010

Crestfield in partnership with Pittsburgh Presbytery's Administrative Commission for Transformation is excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2010 Daycamp Experience. Crestfield will come to your site for this Vacation Bible School like experience for children kindergarten through grade 5 completed.

A variety of opportunities exist:

1. Regular daycamp is a Monday through Thursday experience either in the morning or the evening. Each experience is one week long. For sites new to the Daycamp Initiative, daycampers will travel on Wednesday by chartered bus with chaperones and Crestfield staff and spend the day at Crestfield. Sites that have previously participated in the Daycamp Initiative can choose to participate in the trip for a nominal fee.

2. One Music, Art and Drama Camp that will run on a Monday - Friday from 9AM-3PM with a production on the closing Friday.

3. Two Reading Camps each running for two weeks. This camp is for 12 students maximum and one site will be held from 9-12:30, and one in the later afternoon, Monday through Friday for the first week and Monday through Thursday the second week.

Please see the Application and Covenant of Agreement for more details.

The program is sponsored between Crestfield and the Administrative Commission for Transformation and is free of charge for first time participants. For churches who have participated there is a nominal fee. Please check the Covenant of Agreement for what the church site needs to provide as far as housing and food for the Crestfield staff.

Crestfield provides the program so that the church can provide relationships with those who attend.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 27, 2010.
