Marriage Retreat

A retreat for married couples , whether just married or celebrating golden anniversaries --- and anywhere in between,  seeking to grow in their marriage using scripture, reflection, and communication as pathways to a healthy relationship.

Retreat Leader:  The Rev Carl Baughman will be leading us at the Marriage Retreat.  Carl Baughman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an ordained minister.  He is a Clinical Member and an Approved Supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.  Carl has his Master of Divinity from Bethany Theological Seminary, his Master of Science in Counseling from Wright State University, and he completed a two-year residency in pastoral counseling and marriage and family studies at the Indiana Counseling and Pastoral Care Center. 

 He is the Executive Director of the Samaritan Counseling Center of Western PA and he has been in this position for the past 13 years.  The Samaritan Counseling Center is a validated ministry of Pittsburgh Presbytery and has 5 offices throughout Beaver, Allegheny, and Butler Counties.  The Samaritan Counseling Center is nationally accredited, and provides faith-based counseling for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents.   

Carl resides in Butler with his wife, Karen. 

When: Registration will begin at 6:00pm on Friday night of the retreat, and last until after dinner on Saturday. You may opt to extended your stay until 11:00 AM on Sunday.

Cost:  The cost is $149.00 per couple for one night, and $185.00 per couple for two nights..  This fee covers all meals, lodging and programming.  Save $10.00 on your registration fee if you pay in full before March 1st, 2008.  There is a $40.00 non-refundable deposit per couple.
